WASHINGTON D.C. – Today, Representatives Dave Joyce (OH-14), Haley Stevens (MI-11), Jay Obernolte (CA-23), and Chris Deluzio (PA-17) relaunched the House Manufacturing Caucus as Co-Chairs. Representatives Joyce and Stevens previously served as the Co-Chairs in the 118th Congress.

“Ohio’s billion-dollar manufacturing industry is the cornerstone for economic and job growth in the region,” said Congressman Joyce. “I am honored to continue to help lead this caucus to amplify the voices of manufacturers in Congress. Now more than ever, we must ensure American manufacturers have the workforce and technology necessary to compete in the 21st century. This caucus will work to ensure manufacturers in Ohio, and across the country, remain at the forefront of the industry.”

“I am honored to again be serving as a co-chair of the House Manufacturing Caucus. Our nation’s manufacturers and the jobs they provide are the economic backbone of so many communities like mine in Southeast Michigan. I am excited to be working with my colleagues on bipartisan basis to make sure the United States continues to be a leader and innovator in the manufacturing sector,” said Congresswoman Stevens.

“The resurgence of American manufacturing will lead to better-paying, higher-quality jobs, stronger supply chains, and a more secure future for our country,” said Congressman Obernolte. “The Manufacturing Caucus will focus on delivering real results for American workers, families, and businesses—and as a member of the Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade Subcommittee, I’m proud to help lead that effort.”

“We should be making more stuff in America—it’s a win for jobs, our supply chains, our national security, our workers, and so much else,” said Congressman Deluzio. “By putting America’s workers first, we can usher in a new manufacturing renaissance—with better labor and environmental protections than ever before. I am proud to collaborate with my House colleagues to relaunch the House Manufacturing Caucus in the 119th Congress.”

Founded in 2003, the House Manufacturing Caucus hosts briefings and roundtable discussions with industry leaders, government officials, and academic experts, and acts as a resource for Members and their staff to learn more about the opportunities and challenges facing America’s manufacturing sectors. The caucus also aims to provide Members with information to help constituents and spur job creation in manufacturing and associated industries.
