Ohio – Yesterday, Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14), Speaker Kevin McCarthy (CA-20), Congressman Bill Johnson (OH-06), Congressman Troy Balderson (OH-12), and Congressman Max Miller (OH-07) visited the Sanor Farms well pad facility in Homeworth, Ohio. They heard firsthand from energy industry leaders about the need to increase energy production and rein in bureaucratic red tape so that the United States is not reliant on hostile nations for critical goods.

“Ohio’s oil and gas industry has been the backbone of our state’s economy for decades, powering our homes, fueling our vehicles, and supporting thousands of jobs. Unfortunately, since coming into office, the Biden Administration has worked to stifle domestic oil and gas production at every turn,” said Congressman Joyce. “That’s why House Republicans have championed policies that support domestic energy production, lower energy costs, and permitting reforms through bills like the Lower Energy Costs Act and the Fiscal Responsibility Act. I will continue to work alongside Speaker McCarthy and my colleagues to protect our oil and gas industry for all Americans who rely on it.”
