Joyce Introduces FY24 House Appropriations Homeland Security Bill
WASHINGTON D.C. – This week, U.S. Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14) introduced the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) House Appropriations Homeland Security bill that was approved by the committee last week. Congressman Joyce is the primary author of this funding bill as Chairman for the Subcommittee on Homeland Security.
“Our job on this committee is to provide the resources required to keep America safe, while acting as good stewards of taxpayer dollars,” said Congressman Joyce. “This bill ensures that the men and women of the Department of Homeland Security, who work tirelessly on our behalf, have the resources and tools they need to protect this great nation. Thank you to Chairwoman Granger and my colleagues for helping craft this legislation to strengthen our national security.”
“The FY24 Homeland Security bill provides what is needed to protect our homeland and address the ongoing crisis at our border. It secures our border, removes dangerous criminal aliens, counters China, and strengthens our national security. This is a very good bill, and I appreciate Chairman Joyce’s great work in his first year chairing the Subcommittee,” said House Appropriations Chairwoman Kay Granger.
