WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14) issued the following statement on President Trump’s Executive Order on Improving Price and Quality Transparency in American Healthcare to Put Patients First:

“The high cost of life-saving heath care goods and services, including prescription drugs, is one of the biggest challenges facing our communities in Northeast Ohio. I applaud the President for directing his Administration to overcome this hurdle by improving price and quality transparency in health care. This Executive Order is a positive step toward providing patients with the information and tools they need to choose the care that best fits their personal health needs and financial situations. I look forward to continuing to work with the Administration and my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to give patients the affordability they need, the options they want and the quality they deserve.”
