Federal Health and Safety Resources
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention can be reached at 800-CDC-INFO (800-232-4636). This is a hotline for the public with questions about anything related to the CDC. Information is also available on the CDC-INFO website.

On September 4, 2020, the CDC issued an order banning evictions for certain renters through December 31, 2020. The CDC is issuing the eviction moratorium to protect public health and prevent further spread of COVID-19. The order is separate and independent from the expired CARES Act eviction moratorium.
